We try to make it well known that our specialty and expertise is doing custom lighting designs, and even custom colors and finishes for our customers. We are not quite sure if people recognize that, so we would like to dedicate this post to custom lighting. Because we are an American manufacturer and we have our own machine shop and powder coat facility, we are able to customize just about any light to meet the unique display designs that are in this industry. Sometimes it doesn’t even come down to customizing one of our fixtures, but actually starting from scratch with a new design to meet the design ideas and demands of our clients.
To give an example, we had a client that was building a large exhibit for Pepsi-Cola®.
They were looking for some lights that were different, and not only in shape but in color. We had them pick out a fixture head that they liked, and we went away from the standard straight arm, and solid black, white, or silver color. We put a little curve in the arm and gave the fixture a two toned paint job, with blue and silver. This design was nothing extravagant, and in fact, if anything it helped the lights blend in with the design of the display.
Here is another example, the client was in a bind and needed a hanging pendant light to go into our track system. We currently do not stock anything that would meet his requirements and design. He also needed the lights the very next day. We immediately started exhausting some resources and after traveling to two different cities where area distributors are located, we were able to find some pendant lights that looked like what he wanted. However we still had to outfit these lights with the proper track connections, and to also configure them to hang at the desired length. This job was completed on time that very same day, and shipped over night to meet the deadline.
Just from these two examples, you can see that there are countless ways to customize your display lighting to make them more attractive for your design. Whether it is just simply bending the arm or making it longer, a custom paint job, or that you need a special way to mount your lights, there are options available for these ideas.
We hope these examples show you a little of what our capabilities are, if you don’t already know. We always enjoy doing the custom work the most. So if you have any ideas in mind, please do not hesitate to call, or if you have a story on how we have helped you out on a custom job in the past please leave a comment.
Thank you for your business and support!
